1. Hello guys! Please introduce RED ROLL to the readers by giving us a short bio including your line-up, discography and a short description of your music!
Hey Guys, Red Roll here! We are a rock band based in Italy.
We started playing together almost 2 years ago but each of us have been playing since 15 years I think!
From the beginning we have been working hard on this project from different side: we played a lot of cover to be able to start playing live to build our band feelings! But we early started writing our own songs! We made a crowdfunding to be able to buy an old bus ( our “Ragnar”), we have a craft beer with our name and logo, we have a clothes line…. Ecc..
Almost one year ago we released our first single and EP: “At the end the beginning”. Then we have been started working with an Italian producer for a full album. At the moment we have all the new songs… we will record this album in December and it will be out in April 2022.

2. We became familiar with RED ROLL through your video for the track “Knives”. Please let us know more about the making of the video and the recordings/production of the track!
We recorded this song in may 2021 in Monza! After our first EP we started working with the Italian producer Pietro Foresti. So this is the first song born from this collaboration.
The video was recorded in Rimini …. We really had a blast working with the great dancer Caterina Capacci and RMB studio production!
Knives isn’t an happy song, but it has been a great experience the whole process beside this song!
3. Let us know some more things about the making of your debut album “At the End the Beginning”!
At the end the Beginning was recorded in august 2020 in Ferrara. We spent one week together in a house close to the center of the city!
At the second floor of this studio there is an apartment for the bands… and at the first floor the recording studio; so we really spent one week making and recording music….
It was a great experience, not only from the music side! It makes us stronger in our “band life”.
4. “At the End the Beginning” was released over a year ago. How did the album go in the charts? Did you get positive feedback and make new fans?
Yes, we are really happy about the results of this first EP! The single from this album has been played all over the world and a lot of good feedback come back to us!
5. Have you played live shows so far with RED ROLL? What do you prefer: to play live or to be in the studio and why?
For sure we prefer the live dimension! We like be in studio but we are stage animal…. We like feel the audience and spent some time together making music!
6. Which bands and also which music styles are your influences?
Our musical influences comes from the “Rock world”, but each of us have different inclinations. Grunge, Metal, punk rock and rock… this is our world! We love band like Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge, Muse etc…
7. What are the themes that you choose for your songs’ lyrics? Who writes the lyrics in RED ROLL?
Usually the lyrics are written by Passo but 2 of them are by Cesi.
Our songs are mainly about feelings, emotions… we think that the upcoming album is a journey inside different emotions…
They are an introspective journey into the sickest areas of ourself!! ahah
8. Would you write songs in the Italian language or you prefer to use English and why?
At the moment we are writing only in English.. we like how it sounds… but we are thinking about trying to use our language!
9. What are your plans for the future of Red Roll and how do you attempt to succeed them?
At the moment we are working on a new full album! We already wrote all the songs and we are going to record them in December…. The new album will be out in may 2022! Really can’t wait… it will be different from At the end the beginning…. We worked a lot on it and we cannot wait to put it in the crowd!
Then, after the release, we are planning a lot of concerts all around Europe to promote it as much as we can!
