What is Prison Vision?
It's time to do another song contest based on Eurovision. Don't think of a
huge event taking place in a huge arena! It will run online and everything is
about some kind of promotion of bands from Europe (including such countries as
Australia and Israel - you know, ESC). There won't be expensive rewards or
something. Think of it as a little fun in this so serious world! Drawing
conclusions from the previous contest called MetalVision 2020, some rules will
be changed. Furthermore, it doesn't matter how popular is a band (for example,
how many views can be seen under their YouTube video or how many followers they
have). If a band can motivate their fan base to "vote", they can win.
Any rules?
Songs released in 2020 can take part in PV2021. (It can be a single from an
upcoming album or a song from an album released in 2020.)
How it works?
There will be a Facebook album including the photos of the bands and the links to
the songs. The voting is quite simple. 1 like on the band's photo = 1 vote. Bands should get as many likes as
possible. First, 20 bands with the most likes can take part in the semi-final.
Then everything is the same with a little difference. 10 bands with the most
likes can participate in the final. (Last year, 5-5 bands/semi-final could go
to the final.) Maybe, this small contest will be more exciting this
way.
When?
Voting for the semi-final starts on 7th June and the deadline is on 20th June!
There will be about 2 weeks for the "like hunting".
The finalists will be announced on 21st June!
Voting for the final starts on 28th June and the deadline is on 11th July!
The winner will be announced on 12th July!
